Grants In Action: Buffalo Museum on Wheels

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation recently funded a visit by the Buffalo Museum of Science’s “Buffalo Museum on Wheels” to Windermere Boulevard School first graders.

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation seeks enthusiastic Tiger alum volunteers to participate in our inaugural Meat Raffle at Fairdale on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Fairdale Banquet Hall at 672 Wehrle Dr. in Cheektowaga. Your support as an Amherst alumnus is crucial to the success of this event, which directly benefits current students at your Alma Mater.

We are actively recruiting 25-30 volunteers to ensure a memorable experience.

Pepe, Leda B. (Brunner) age 96, of Williamsville, NY passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

Wife of the late Richard Pepe and late Alan MacDougall, Sr.; dear mother of Amy (Thomas) Hagerty and Alan (Pauline) MacDougall; dear grandmother of Steven (Ingrid) Hagerty, Elizabeth (Richard) Johnson, Sheila (Adam Imiolo) Hagerty, and John MacDougall, III., great grandmother of 5; daughter of the late George and Lydia Brunner; sister of the late David Brunner, cousin of Karen (Charles) Strait and friend of Jennifer Wiser. No prior visitation, A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Williamsville Methodist Church. Leda will be laid to rest in Elmlawn Cemetery.
