Having a class reunion in 2021?

Please contact the Alumni Office if you are organizing a reunion for your class in 2021. We can assist by providing you with a contact list for your class, print mailing labels and help promote on our website’s reunion page and social media accounts.

When organzing your reunion, please consider keeping the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation, Inc. in mind if your class has funds leftover from your reunion or if your class would like to make a donation to our organization. There are a variety of ways your class can do this.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit which has given out in excess of $100,000 in grants throughout the district aimed at helping the students of today.

To get your reunion listed, you can contact the Amherst Alumni Office at (716) 362-8259 or alumni@amherstschools.org. We are glad to help out in any way we can.

April Updates for the Daily Bread Food Truck and the Tiger’s Den Food Pantry

Because of continued food insecurity in WNY, the Daily Bread Food Truck will be working with restaurants from the area serving free meals every Monday night through June.

Starting Monday April 12th,the Truck will be parked at the driveway loop in front of Amherst High School on Main Street from 5-7 pm.

For the month of April, St. Paul’s is looking particularly for Tiger’s Den donations of canned fruits and canned vegetables. Personal care products (shampoo, deodorant, body wash, lotion, and hand soap) are always needed and welcomed.

Donations can be dropped off Monday – Friday to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (4007 Main St. – Office Entrance) during office hours: 9:30 – 1:30 daily. Any questions, please contact St. Paul’s Office: 835-0407.

Of West Seneca, entered into rest February 18, 2021. Beloved husband of Phyllis F. (nee Graf); devoted father of Heather Gulas-Karaszewski and Erica (Jason) Pirro; cherished grandfather of Brett and Emma Pirro and Christopher Gulas-Karaszewski. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. Mr. Gulas was a United States Air Force Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association and SPCA of Erie County. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel).
