In 2008, the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation, Inc. completed its Stone Tiger Project with the installation of two tiger sculptures at the entrance of Amherst Central High School. The tigers are the work of local artist Larry Griffis III.
The Foundation is now looking to name the tigers, and we want you to help us.
From now until 05/04/2018, you can submit your name suggestion to the Foundation. A review panel will decided on the top ten names, and then we will have a second public vote to determine the final two.
To submit your suggestion, use the form below.
If you have any questions, please contact our alumni office at 716.362.8259.
My suggestion is Bob
After Famed Basketball Coach and gym teacher Bob Hetler.
