The Alumni Office received this email today from ACHS Principal Gregory Pigeon.

The end of an era and dawn of a new at ACHS.

Our ACHS pool is currently under construction for conversion to a brand new multi-purpose PE and athletics facility. Like any old friend, it is hard to say goodbye but we are looking forward to many great memories being made in the newly redesigned space. The pool dates back to the original school construction phases in the 1930’s. It will be filled in with 100’s of tons of pea gravel and a new surface laid over the summer. Should be open for business this fall.

Truly the end of an era.
