Class Directors

The Class Directors are an important link between the Executive Board of the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation, Inc. and each of the individual classes. They serve as liaisons and promote the activities and events of the Foundation to members of their class through letters, flyers, e-mails, phone calls, etc. – whatever it takes to get the word out.

Several classes are still lacking Directors, so it is definitely not too late to offer your assistance. Unlike many of the “jobs” connected with the Alumni Foundation, this is a role that can easily be assumed by someone living outside of WNY. A perfect example of someone who is willing to help ACAF, Inc. from “afar” is Clay Pasternack ’68 who has become a member of our ACAF Board of Directors — although living in Rocky River, OH.

Clay recently offered to chair the Class Directors Committee as that is a role he can handle for us “long distance”. So, if you have any questions about the class directors or would like to volunteer your services to serve as a liaison for your class, please contact Clay at: claypinc@cs.com or 440-330-2208.

Click on the link below to see who the Class Directors are for your class. Feel free to contact them directly for information on plans for upcoming activities & reunions or ACAF, Inc. news.

Join us for the social event of the 85th Anniversary Celebration weekend! On Saturday, July 25th, Alumni will gather at Daemen’s newly renovated Wick Center for food and beverages while they reminisce about their high school experiences and celebrate 85 years of Amherst Central High Schools! Plenty of food will be available, including an appetizer station, a salad station, a carving station, a pasta station, and gourmet coffee and dessert stations. Cash bar.

One of the highlights will be a continuous video montage highlighting photos from every class year at Amherst High School.

There will also be designated areas for alumni to gather from your era.

Some classes will be using this event as their social connection for their individual reunions. If your class is considering this, we will (with advanced registration) designate tables with signage for your use! Bring us a flash drive with your class pictures and we will add to the big screen!

Only 7 weeks until the event! Talk to your classmates- send in your registrations so you don’t miss out on the fun!
