Amherst Alumni Night for the Amherst Operetta Association’s 2017 production of Beauty and the Beast is on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 7:30PM.

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation is a supporter of arts in the district, and this is our 26th Alumni Night at the Operetta!

There will be a special alumni section for Tiger Alumni. You can make this a mini-reunion with Tiger friends and family.

“Walter Reitz, former Director of Music Programs for the Amherst Schools peacefully passed away on December 18, 2016 at the age of 95. Walter was so proud to be associated with Amherst. The school and community provided many wonderful opportunities for himself, his students, and his family. Thank you Amherst for being the centerpiece of his life.” -Ray Reitz, Son

The weather is cold outside, but it is never too early to start making golf plans for next year.

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation’s 17th Annual Alumni Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2016 at the Park Golf Course.

Our Golf Classic is the largest fundraiser for the foundation. It helps support the wonderful things we do for the Amherst Central School District and its students. So mark your calendar 2017 and look for registration to open in spring for this great event.

Alumni Foundation meets with Superintendent on Capital Improvement Project

On Thursday, November 17, 2016, Amherst Central Schools Superintendent and members of his staff came to the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation’s (ACAF) monthly board meeting to give a presentation on the proposed Capital Improvement Project for the district.

The project will be voted on by the public on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 6:30pm in the Amherst Board of Education Conference Room located in the district office at 55 Kings Highway.
