Once again, the 17th Annual Amherst Golf Classic will be held at Glen Oak Golf Course.
New for 2018, food & beverages are provided by Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant and include a steak dinner.

Looking for Alumni guest speakers for Career and Financial Management Class

Christina Evans, Amherst Central High School teacher, is looking for Amherst Alumni to come speak to her Career and Financial Management class.

She is looking for Alumni in these fields:

  • Firefighter
  • Emergency medicine
  • Surgeon
  • Army
  • Substance abuse counselor
  • Lawyer
  • Civil rights lawyer
  • Lyricist
  • Air Force Pilot
  • Tradesperson (welder, electrician, etc.)

Christina would like to schedule guests for April and May. Her class times are 8:30-9:15am, 10:00-10:45am, 12:20-1:00pm and 1:50-2:35pm.

Alumni Night at the Operetta Deadline for Tickets is 01/30/2018

Amherst Alumni Night for the Amherst Operetta Association’s 2018 production of The Phantom of the Opera is on Friday, February 9, 2017 at 7:30PM.

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation is a supporter of arts in the district, and this is our 27th Alumni Night at the Operetta.

There will be a special reserved seating section for Tiger Alumni. You can make this a mini-reunion with Tiger friends and family. Deadline for ticket orders through alumni foundation is January 30, 2018.

There will also be an informal gathering of Amherst Alumni at Loughran’s (4543 Main Street) after the performance.
