Giving Tuesday is next week, please consider a donation to the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation! If you make a donation you will have the opportunity to get choose from a Tiger key chain, a Tiger bracelet or set of Tiger note cards. Stay tuned for more details!
The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation, through generous donations from alumni, provides financial support to programs which enhance the student experience throughout Amherst Central School District. The foundation is an independent 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization. Our donors help bridge the gap between basic funding and what Amherst students need to truly excel.
Amherst JV Field Hockey Donation Drive for Puerto Rico is be held on October 19, 2017 from 3:30-6pm at the Amherst High School Turf Field.
The event is being spearheaded by 2006 Amherst Alumna, Emily Warren Zimmer. Emily is also the Amherst’s JV Field Hockey Coach and a sits on the board of the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation.
The field is located behind the high school on Westmoreland Road between Berryman Drive and Washington Highway.

On October 21, 2017, the Amherst Appeal will be hosting its 5th annual Show Us Your Stripes community party and fundraiser at a new location, The Fairdale Banquet Center. Through generous donations of businesses and individuals, Show Us Your Stripes promises to be a premier event as well as a fundraiser that directly benefits Amherst Central’s students, teachers, academic programs, arts offering, athletic experiences, and buildings and learning spaces for the Amherst Appeal. Sustainability and enhancement is critical as we recognize limitations on revenue and the dire need which exists to seek sources of alternative funding.

Please attend this special celebration of our Schools and our Amherst Community! All proceeds, sponsorships and donations benefit the Amherst Central School District! This is a fundraiser and an all-community celebration to benefit the students, teachers, parents, alumni and neighbors of Smallwood, Windermere, Amherst Middle and Amherst High Schools.
