  1. When I was in 7th grade in Chicago I spent summers with my grandparents in Snyder and met Bob Laskie. He showed me around the school and convinced me that I should try to go there for high school. I did manage to move in with my grandparents and attend ACHS, graduating in 1959, a year after Bob. He influenced me to make one of the better decisions that I ever made, RIP Bob.

  2. Bob was a friend and a supporter of everything I did for the Alumni Foundation. His generous heart was part of everything that he participated in. He always did his part and was proud of his affiliation with Amherst. He was game for new ideas, progress and making education the best it could be for current students. His foresight gave us the Amherst Central Alumni Chorale. His presence will always be felt in the Alumni Office, at Amherst High School and during all the events we sponsor. His legacy will live on here at Amherst.
