55, of Eggertsville, entered into rest on April 10, 2025. Loving son of Stephen P. (Debbie) Cuccia and the late Marie (nee Runfola) Cuccia; dear brother of Stephen M. (Jill) Cuccia; adored uncle of Marie Cuccia; special cousin of Joanne (Christopher) McCleary; fond nephew of Maria (Michael) Brooks, Carolyn (late John) Merlino, Angelo (Mary Cora) Runfola and Joyce (late David) Mount; also survived by many cousins. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Monday, April 21 from 4-7pm and where a funeral service will be held at 6:30pm. Private inurnment Clarence Fillmore Cemetery. A Celebration of Christian’s Life will also be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 371 Delaware Ave., Buffalo on Saturday, May 10 at 1:00pm. Jeffrey C. Higgins, of Amherst, NY entered into rest on April 4, 2025 at age 70.
Loving son of the late Dorothy and William Higgins Jr.; dear brother of Mary Higgins Enright, Marguerite (Lynette Cornell) Higgins and the late William “Billy” Higgins III; cherished uncle of Thomas Enright and Liz (Mike) Van Dyke; adored great-uncle of Aidan, Cooper, Avery and Caroline.
Jeff was a successful engineer and the owner of Higgins Erectors and Haulers. He was an avid supporter of the arts and enjoyed gardening.
No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Amherst Community Church, 77 Washington Hwy., Amherst, NY 14226 on Thursday (April 10, 2025) at 10am. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeff’s memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lyphoma Society, 3 International Dr., Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573.

One of the Amherst Central Alumni Foundation’s Spring Grants was for third-grade students at Windermere. The teachers submitted a grant application to purchase supplies to create memory books for the students.
